California’s largest city raised its minimum wage to $15 by 2020. This trend is sweeping the nation. Critic say small businesses will be hit hardest. We’ve heard warnings of layoffs in those sectors who can’t afford such a pay hike, but proponents are winning the battle arguing the minimum wage needs a boost to keep up with GDP per person.
